Finally understand how forgiving fire pistons really are and learn the "secrets" that are simple facts held from you by others who have been lucky enough to figure this out. |

| When I first decided I wanted a fire piston, I quickly learned that I would be put on a six month to a year waiting list and have to pay more than I thought they were worth. So after looking online and in books at photos of historical examples, I set out to make my own. With 30 years experience with wood working, I was able to make my first attempt successful, a Water Buffalo Horn Model. After that, I decided to continue to make them for trade and sale. I wanted to make these almost forgotten tools readily available at prices interested people like me could afford. I have made 1000’s of fire pistons and you can find my fire pistons at top survival schools where they have been field tested and proven to be the best. It was after making my first fire piston that I decided that I wanted to make this information available in my How To Make A Fire Piston DVD. To me what use is a primitive tool if you don’t know how to make it and what use is the knowledge if you don’t pass it on? While other makers have others make ready to assemble fire piston parts for them, you can be assured that each fire piston is hand crafted, custom fit and personally tested by me before shipping to ensure that you only get the best of my workmanship and a tool that will be guaranteed reliable. I want you to feel the spirit of the explorer as he sets foot onto a new land, bewildering others who have not yet seen the captivating magic of this primitively modern tool. These tools are a combination of magic and art in a very useful fire starting device. |
