Flint and Steel Strikers

These strikers are inspired by traditional styles used &
carried by different cultures through the eras. Each
comes with a kit that includes: a chard of high quality
flint, a bundle of jute fiber, char cloth, & a rectangular
hinged mint tin to carry it all in.

Custom Striker Designs

Although you will not find exact replicas of most of the
strikers here, these are inspired by the creativity of
blacksmith through the ages. Kits like these were prized
items or given as gifts. Each kit includes: a chard of high
quality flint, a bundle of jute fiber, char cloth, milkweed
ovum, & a round tin that you not only can carry it all in but
can also double for making char cloth.

Mini Striker Designs

Although you may not have seen very many historical
references to mini flint & steel kits, they were actually
very popular & were often worn as pendants for easy
access. These kits include: a chard of high quality flint, a
bundle of jute fiber, char cloth, and a rectangular hinged
mint tin to carry it all in.

Striker Knife Designs

There are historical examples of flint and steel striker
knives. Many where used as neck knives. These striker
knives are not reproductions but a are carefully crafted
unique designs. Each of these strikers comes with a
chard of flint.

You will find leather pouches, replenishment kits and
