Flint and Steel Striker Knives

This striker knife was inspired by a historical example. It is
about 7 1/2" inches long overall with about 3 1/2 inches of that
being the cutting edge. The blade is hardened & tempered to hold
a long lasting razor sharp edge while the striking surface is kept
hard to throw lots of fiery sparks.

This Cobra striker knife is an artistic twist to an ancient fire
starting method. Though there are no historical examples of this
model, blacksmiths were often sought to forge special strikers
that were often seen on the hearth waiting to striker a fire for the
fireplace or for a special more personalized gift.
